Rachael Mia Allen is an expressive landscape artist based in Cornwall, UK. Born and raised in the far southwest, her work is shaped by a deep, lived connection to the land, sea, and skies of the region.

Painting primarily in oils, her practice explores the relationship between external landscape and internal states — where memory, presence, and emotion meet the changing weather. Her work is intuitive and process-led, built through layered mark-making, subtle colour shifts, and atmospheric light.

Rachael’s paintings offer a sense of place that is felt as much as seen — landscapes as thresholds, as held experience, as quiet truths. She draws from moments in the field, but works mostly in the studio, letting instinct guide the evolution of each piece.

She lives and works in West Cornwall.
